jellies in venice

I created this project to fulfil a freelance competition brief set by Dan Heath on Endangered Species, for which I was a finalist.

The inspiration for this project comes from the way nature returned to cities during the 2020 Lockdown. Particularly in Venice where residents reported jellyfish sitings in the canals, along with corals and small fish.

I developed this concept through contextual research drawings, the outcome was 2 print designs which can be seen below.
